14th EFDN Conference in Breda, the Netherlands postponed to 10 and 11 November 2020
Due to concerns over the current Covid-19 outbreak, we have decided to postpone the 14th EFDN “#Morethanfootball” Conference in Breda, The Netherlands, which was originally planned on the 24th & 25th of March 2020 to 10th & 11th of November 2020. The EFDN conference in Budapest which was planned on these dates will now be organised on the 23rd and 24th of March 2021.
Covid-19 is a growing global public health threat that is having ramifications across the world. Protecting the health and well-being of our members, partners and staff is of paramount importance. The decision to cancel the largest gathering of CSR-experts in European football, open to travellers from across Europe, was made out of the abundance of caution and the latest data available regarding the transmission of Covid-19.
Monitoring the developments of respective governments and local health authorities, EFDN remains fully supportive of any preventative measures taken in the interests of the overall public health. Henceforth, we will respect the instructions provided by the authorities and health organisations and with being an international event, it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the event to another date, as we must take every action and follow health authorities’ guidelines to stop, contain, control, delay and reduce the impact of this virus at every given opportunity.
All registered attendees that have paid the conference fee will have a valid ticket for the EFDN Conference in November.
Attendees can apply for a refund by sending an email to conference@efdn.org (Please be aware of transaction charges). All refunds will be refunded to the credit card, bank account or PayPal account from which the registration was paid.
We are saddened to announce this news, with recognising that the timing of this decision can lead to inconveniences for attendees, but safety has to remain our utmost priority. We thank you for your understanding and co-operation at this time and we hope to see you at our EFDN Conference in Breda on the 10th & 11th of November, 2020.
