Erasmus University Rotterdam & Feyenoord will present M&E research project

We are happy to announce that the 10th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference will be joined by Brian Godor from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and Feyenoord. Brian Godor will present in detail a research project with a focus on monitoring and evaluation. p. 13.1

Over the next four yours, Feyenoord Rotterdam and the Erasmus University Rotterdam will work together on a research project that aims at exploring the impact of Feyenoord Rotterdam’s community and social responsibility programmes. The research will apply a practical and evidence-based research approach. This entails that Feyenoord’s methodologies will be evaluated according to existing academic research. Likewise, the best practices of the Foundation p.13.2will be introduced to the academic research literature.

The research follows the goal of providing a clear and broad overview of the impact that the programmes are having on the club and the participants. Additionally, the project will see the development of a toolkit with guidelines and advice for the community and social responsibility programmes of Feyenoord Rotterdam. One of the main topics that will be addressed will be the delivery and implementation of community and social responsibility programmes in major cities and the problems that such a setting can entail.

Brian Godor
