Confirmed Speaker: Steve Mack, Operation Manager at Newcastle United FC
EFDN is pleased to announce Steve Beharall Head of Foundation at Newcastle United FC as a confirmed speaker at the 16th edition of the EFDN Conference, to be held in Breda, Netherland from on the 9th and 10th of November 2021.
He will present the NUFC Foundation’s CSR Programme mostly related to topics as Diversity, Inclusion, Welfare with as title #UnitedAsOne. A short introduction.
‘Steve is the Operation Manager at Newcastle United and part of his role is to develop innovative programmes designed to integrate Newcastle United with its local community and to work alongside Newcastle United Football Club to initiate, develop and maintain effective links between the Club, its partners, businesses and the wider community.’
‘United As One encapsulates the club’s work in the fields of diversity, inclusion and welfare. It encompasses a wide range of activities currently being undertaken by the club and Foundation, which are geared towards ending discrimination and inequality in football and in society. This includes work with supporter groups including United With Pride and Newcastle United Disabled Supporters Association, as well as initiatives such as On the Ball, Be A Game Changer and Memory Café.’
