Inna Khmyzova presents ‘Come On, Let’s Play!’ programme

Inna Khmyzova, Director at Shakhtar Social Foundation, presents their nominated project “Come On, Lets Play!” at the 13th EFDN Conference in Barcelona in November. The Shakhtar Social project is one among the 4 projects that have been selected for the shortlist of the More than Football Award 2019. The applicants selected for the shortlist are invited to make a 15-minute presentation of their project. After all four presentations, the EFDN conference attendees will choose the winning organisation.

‘Come On, Let’s Play!’

FC Shakhtar Donetsk have been running the ‘Come On, Let’s Play!’ project since 2013. The project is aimed at the development of grassroots football and its popularization throughout Ukraine. The ‘Come On, Let’s Play!’ project today includes 51 playgrounds in 28 different cities and towns of Ukraine. The project participants are mainly boys and girls aged 7 to 12, including kids with disabilities. The 47 Shakhtar Social coaches conduct free football training sessions. The club provides all the necessary equipment. Local tournaments have been held twice a year in each location of the ‘Come On, Let’s Play!’ project.

Inna Khmyzova is a part of FC Shakhtar since 2005. She led the marketing department of FC Shakhtar for more than 10 years. Inna was appointed as Director of Shakhtar Social Foundation in January 2019. Inna develops and maintains social activities in various fields of action like health, gender equality, social inclusion, education, charity. Inna promotes the development of grassroots football in Ukraine, making an impact to change lives of kids and the community itself.
