Sarah Medcalf from Newcastle United Foundation presents their campaign on mental health

Sarah Medcalf, Senior Development Manager of the Newcastle United Foundation presents their campaign “Be a Game Changer – Let’s get talking about mental health” at the 13th EFDN Conference in Barcelona in November.

“Be a Game Changer – Let’s get talking about mental health”

Newcastle United Foundation recently launched Be a Game Changer, a campaign to encourage people, in particular men, in the city to talk openly about mental health and to provide tips on how to improve their physical and mental well-being. The campaign promotes to talk more openly about mental health, take steps to look after ourselves, and each other, more effectively. Through #beagamechanger, the Foundation keeps a close eye on the team – and promotes to do the same with others who may need support.
