The venue – 18th EFDN Conference
The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its 18th EFDN Conference from the 14th until the 16th of November 2022 in Budapest, Hungary. The topic of this EFDN Conference will be “Sustainability and Human Rights”, which will take place at the Groupama Arena, the stadium of EFDN Member Ferenvárosi TC.
Ferencvárosi Torna Club, known as Ferencváros, is a Hungarian professional football club based in Ferencváros, Budapest, Hungary, that plays in the Hungarian League. The club has been involved with EFDN for many years, and has participated in many of our projects, currently taking part in the EFDN Walking Football League, the EFDN Community Champions League, and the Sustainably Scoring project.
Budapest is known as the “Spice of Europe“. The city has a lively history and has a wide mix of cultures. It is divided by the Danube river. The name of Budapest was given after three previous cities, Buda, Óbuda, and Pest, became one in 1873.
During the 18th EFDN Conference, our delegates will have the opportunity to be located in the heart of the city and enjoy some sightseeing during the days of the Conference.
