EFDN is proud that the 11th EFDN Conference will take place at the Ghelamco Arena, the home of KAA Gent.
The Ghelamco Arena is a multi-use stadium in Ghent, Belgium and hosted its first competitive match on 4th August 2013 when Gent won 2-1 over KV Mechelen. The stadium was officially opened on July 17, 2013, making it the first new-built Belgian football stadium since 1974. The stadium seats 20,000 and replaced the Jules Ottensdaion which was KAA Gent’s home venue since 1920.
Ghelamco Arena is the home base of real estate developer Ghelamco and houses an Albert Heijn store, an employment agency and a gym. It also houses Michelin star restaurant Horseele and a bistro, which is all open during the week.
The EFDN Conference will take place at the third level of the Arena. The facilities all have pitch side view and provide the perfect conditions for a non-formal but productive atmosphere. The plenary presentations, roundtable discussions and break out sessions are all located in different sections of the 3rd floor. You can already start your virtual tour of the Ghelamco Arena here.
