20th EFDN Conference in Athens
The European Football for Development Network (EFDN) will host its 20th EFDN Conference from 13-15 November 2023 in Athens, Greece. The topic of this EFDN Conference will be “Making Football Matter”, which will take place at the OPAP Arena, the stadium of EFDN Member AEK Athens.
This event will be the next European gathering for our environmental, social and governance (ESG) network after the successful 19th EFDN Conference that took place in Seville in March 2023, hosted by EFDN Member Real Betis Balompié in the venue of their stadium the Benito Villamarín.
EFDN Conferences bring a unique opportunity for ESG experts and newcomers into the ESG world to learn from each other and share their insights about topics such as fundraising in ESG, environmental sustainability, anti-discrimination, social inclusion, online safeguarding, physical activity in a younger and older population, or STEM education, among others. The format of the conference includes panels, breakout sessions, study visits and roundtables, and offers multiple chances to network and connect with other EFDN members and experts in the ESG in football.
