Her studies and background as a (sports)psychologist combined with working for JOGG makes that she perfectly knows how to change human behaviour and make social impact by creating a healthy environment. In this presentation, Esther and her colleague Antoine will share their knowledge and experience on how to create a social and physical healthy environment by using a community based approach. This approach (called JOGG) involves and challenges everyone in the community to make a positive impact for a healthy future for our youth. It targets not only the child’s behavior, but in particular it focuses on making a healthier social and physical environment. To achieve this, JOGG works together with policy makers from the national and local government, as well as with professionals from the public and private sectors. Also professional football clubs can create a valuable impact within the community based approach. In this presentation, Esther and her colleague will inspire you with examples from the Netherlands on how you can create a healthy environment and be a healthy role model.
